Liberal policies and platforms are made to bring about national failure. They do not want the nation depending on God, so they intentionally institute policies that are known to fail. They want America to fail its citizens. Here is what could very well be taken from the liberal platform: “This freedom you have in America is flawed, capitalism does not work, God is not real! You do not need freedom as it is in America, capitalism or God. You need us! You need socialism! We (the government) will take care of you. If socialism failed in the past…which it has every time it was tried…it is because it was not true socialism. Vote for us and we will take care of you.”
If you look closely at the Liberal platform, you will see it fundamentally wants to change America. America was founded on freedom from tyranny, separation of powers, and giving the people the right to vote for its leaders. Satan doesn’t like this arrangement. Satan takes what is good and perverts it into something bad. Perversion is the alteration of something from its original course and meaning, or corruption of what was first intended. God loves us, but Satan turns love into lust. God gives us art, but Satan turns it into pornography. Harvard College, the first Ivy League school, was established to advance the Christian faith. This was true of other Ivy League schools. Harvard was named after a Christian minister, Yale was established by clergy to educate Congregational ministers. Princeton’s first year of class was taught by a reverend. Today those institutions have been turned into liberal organizations supporting anti-Christian values. They have been perverted from their original intent. This can happen to a church when it is tempted away from the precepts taught by the Word of God, and lured into standards set by the angel of light. Yesterday’s mainline churches are today closing their doors…out of business.
James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, said, “We must vote, vote, vote to elect leaders who will defend what has been purchased with the blood of patriots who died to protect our liberty. We owe it to the memory of their sacrifice to preserve what they did for us. We must not fritter it away on our watch! If any politician tells you he or she will ‘fundamentally change’ this nation, what he or she means is that he or she plans to undermine our Constitution and take away our heritage of freedom. Run from him or her!” God did not make us robots. He gives us freedom to choose between good and evil. He gives us the freedom to believe in Him or not. God wants you to love Him voluntarily. The Bible says, “I (God) call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” [Deuteronomy 30:19].
This freedom that God gives you is freedom designed for His purposes. It is freedom to share the Gospel, do His will, and serve others. In many countries, Christianity is outlawed, and you can even go to prison for possessing a Bible. This freedom that God gives you is not the freedom to do anything that pleases you. It is not the liberal definition of freedom…which is, if it feels good do it. It is not the freedom to sin. The Bible says, “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” [Galatians 5:13].
God is a creator. Satan is not a creator…unless you consider ‘hate’, ‘greed’, ‘envy’, ‘lust’, ‘lies’, ‘adultery’, etc. Satan is a perverter. He takes what God creates and perverts it. The Founding Fathers with God’s guidance established America (United States) to allow people to have freedom to worship God and choose their own paths in life. It was not a country to entrap people in bondage. Jesus is freedom and Satan is bondage. The Bible says, “Stand-fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” [Galatians 5:1].
In the coming weeks we will look at the liberal scheme of bondage with an ultimate objective to become a god (an idol) to people. The idolatry of government is a vicious cycle that is not Biblical. The idolatry of government includes:
– Identity politics…divide people into groups
– Victimization and blame…label groups as victims and place blame on others
– Propose a false solution…the need for a level playing field and closing the wealth gap
– Implement a progressive tax system…penalize those they blame
– Wealth redistribution…transfer wealth to those identified as victims
– The idolatry of government…create continual dependence on government
What you must know is that everything that the liberal platform promises to do and all it wants to become in your life, Jesus already is!
